1. Q: What is steam boiler used for?
A: Industrial steam boiler are designed for low-pressure or
high-pressure applications. Low-pressure boilers are limited to 15
psig design, and are typically used for heating applications.
High-pressure boilers are typically used for process loads and can
have an operating pressure of 16 to more tan 1000 sig. Most steam
boiler systems require saturated steam, which means the water and
the steam in the vessel are at the same temperature.
2. Q: What are the available fuel for the steam boiler?
A: Natural gas, LPG, Light Oil, Diesel, Heavy oil, oil/gas dual fuels, coal, biomass pellet, rice husk, bagasse, etc.
3. Q: What capacity are provided for steam boiler?

4. Q: What design pressure are provided for steam boiler?
A: 0.7Mpa(7Bar), 1.0Mpa(10Bar), 1.25Mpa(12.5Bar), 1.6Mpa(16Bar).
Operating pressure can be controlled in the range of design
pressure.
5. Q: What’s the differences between fire tube boiler and water tube boiler.
A: Fire tube boiler also called shell boiler, the flue gas flows in
fire tubes or smoke tubes, and heat the water, steam or the
steam-water mixture outside the tubes. Compare with the water tube
boilers, fire tube boilers have relatively smaller steam capacity,
between 0.5~20t/h, and working pressure is between 0.7-1.6Mpa. This
fire tube boiler has compact structure and convenient operation,
strong load adaptability, lower water quality requirement.
· Water tube boiler refers to the boiler that water, steam or the
steam-water mixture flows in the tubes, and fire or the smoke are
combustion and flow outside the flues. Compare with fire tube
boilers, water tube boilers has the features of larger steam
capacity and pressure, better heat transfer property and higher
combustion efficiency, otherwise, the requirement on water quality
is higher.
6. Q: What are the differences between vertical type boiler and
horizontal type boiler with the same capacity?
A: Vertical type:
1.Structure of vertical boiler is compact, occupy a limited area.
2.Convenient on installation and removal.
3.Low cost and investment on capital construction. Steam exhausted
fast and sufficient.
Horizontal type:
1.The combustion space of horizontal is big, fuel can be burned
completed.
2.The thermal efficiency is higher than the vertical boiler,

steam quality.
